A Spelling Note

A spelling note: in Dutch, the letter "y" is a combination of the letters "i" and "j." In script there are normally two dots (an umlaut): "ÿ". In some sources the letter has been transcribed as "ij," in other sources "y". In most cases (primary exception Lycklama - to conform with current usage) I have used "ij." I have also changed all "K" initial letters (e.g. Kornelis) to "C" (Cornelis). This is the opposite of current use, but in line with normal usage prior to 1800. In either case, the sound is hard. I have not changed spelling out of any desire for "correctness," but to make it easier to analyze the data and in particular to see if someone is already included.
